WHO WE WORK WITH · 0401

Shortlisted before anyone calls you.

By the time a request for proposal reaches you, the decision about who gets to bid has already been made. Somebody spent an afternoon narrowing the field, and they did it by reading, not by calling.

Which means the marketing that won you the bid happened months earlier and you never saw it happen. It also means the integrator who published nothing was never in the room to begin with.

THE ARGUMENT02

The invisible round you already lost.

Every integrator can name the bids they lost. Almost none can name the bids they were never invited to, which is a much larger number and the one worth doing something about.

Shortlisting happens quietly. An IT lead, a facilities director or a general contractor spends part of an afternoon assembling three or four names, and the criteria are whatever they can verify quickly: which platforms you work with, whether you have done a building like theirs, and whether you look like an organization that will still exist in three years.

Every one of those is answerable on a website and none of them are answered by a homepage that says you provide security solutions. The word solutions in particular tells a procurement reader nothing at all.

The referral case is not an exception. A referred integrator still gets searched, and what the search turns up either confirms the recommendation or quietly weakens it.

WHAT DECIDES IT

Being findable and credible during the shortlist, which happens before the bid.

You cannot influence the shortlist during the bid. You can only have already influenced it, which is a content problem with a long lead time.

WHAT GETS CHECKED03

Five things, in about ten minutes.

Shortlisting is fast and shallow by necessity. The person doing it is not an expert in your field and is looking for signals they can verify without one.

What a procurement researcher checks and what satisfies each check

Do they work with our platformA named list of systems you are certified or experienced on.A generic access control services page.
Have they done a building like oursProject types, scale and sector, described without breaching confidence.A gallery of unlabeled photographs.
Are they a real organizationLicensing, insurance, tenure, staff count, association membership.A site with no company detail anywhere on it.
Can they handle the network sidePlain statements about cloud platforms, credentials and integration.Silence, which reads as a hardware-only installer.
Will they be here in three yearsYears in operation, a real address, a maintained site.A copyright date three years old.

The last row costs integrators more shortlist places than any technical shortcoming. A site that looks abandoned reads as a company that might be, and nobody specifies a system from a supplier they are not sure will answer the phone in year three.

THE RECURRING TAIL04

The install is not the revenue.

A cloud access control installation carries an administration relationship behind it that can run for years. Credentials get issued and revoked, staff turn over, doors get added, and somebody has to hold the platform.

That changes what a lead is worth, and it should change what you are willing to spend to get one. An integrator valuing an inquiry at the install price is undervaluing it by whatever the following four years of administration are worth.

It also changes which page matters. The page that wins a system replacement is not the same page that wins an extension to a system somebody already runs, and the second is a significantly easier sale.

  • One page per platform

Named, specific, and honest about which you are certified on. Buyers search platform names far more than category names.

  • A project-type page, not a gallery

Sector, scale and door count, described in a way a reader can match to their own building.

  • The takeover page

Written for somebody unhappy with whoever currently administers their system. The cheapest work you will ever win.

  • Say the network part out loud

Silence about cloud platforms, credentials and integration reads as a hardware-only installer, whether or not that is true.

  • Keep the site visibly alive

A maintained site is itself a procurement signal. An abandoned one disqualifies you before any technical question is asked.

WHY THIS AGENCY05

Procurement-grade evidence.

You are asked to prove capability before anybody signs anything. We work the same way: the deliverable is specified, the turnaround is stated, and the output can be checked line by line.

Ultra SEO Solutions has been doing search work since 2009, across more than 15,000 clients and 28,500 websites, with 94 percent of clients staying. That record belongs to the parent agency across every industry it serves, and we do not dress it up as locksmith experience it never claimed to be.

What is specific to this trade is the argument the rest of this site makes: that verification and consistency decide more outcomes here than they do anywhere else, and that most of the money is sitting in the commercial and automotive work nobody markets for.

  • We do not guarantee rankings

No agency can. What we commit to is the quantity of work, the stated turnaround, and your ability to inspect every piece of it through a live URL.

  • We will recommend the smaller plan

When the numbers say Golden, we say Golden. The calculator on this site is built to tell you that before anybody from here speaks to you.

  • You own everything, permanently

Pages, content and placements stay yours after you stop paying. No contract, no notice period, no clawback. That policy is why month to month is possible.

  • We are not licensed locksmiths

We are a search marketing agency. We hold no locksmith licensing and no physical security credentials, and we will never imply otherwise.

QUESTIONS06

On systems.

We win work through referral. Why would we need this?01

Referral gets you into the conversation. It rarely survives the part where somebody searches your company name and finds three thin pages. Procurement research happens whether or not you were referred, and what it turns up either confirms the referral or quietly undermines it.

The search volume for our platforms is tiny. Is it worth it?02

A single access control installation runs $3,000 to $25,000 and often carries recurring platform administration behind it. At those values a page producing a handful of qualified inquiries a year pays for a program several times over. Volume is the wrong measure for this segment.

Should we name the platforms we install?03

Yes, specifically. Buyers search by platform far more than by category, because they usually already have an opinion or an existing system to extend. Naming what you are certified on is also the fastest way to be excluded from bids you would lose anyway, which is a saving rather than a loss.

How early does the shortlist form?04

Earlier than most integrators expect. By the time a request for proposal is written the field has usually already been narrowed by somebody doing research they will never mention. That is the moment your published capability is doing the work, and it is months before you hear anything.

How does this differ from being a commercial locksmith?05

The competition is different. A commercial locksmith competes with other locksmiths on hardware. An integrator competes with security firms and IT contractors on systems, and is evaluated by people who think in platforms, credentials and network requirements rather than in doors.
